Sista Kim's Kitchen

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. When I arrived inside, it was almost full of people sitting down. The lady at the counter said the wait time maybe up to 45 minutes. She gave me a complimentary bottle of water to ensure people stay hydrated. I ended up waiting around 20 minutes for my order. The food I tried was delicious Catfish is 7 out of 10. The ambiance is nice and friendly.

Where do I start? Her service was impeccable. The smiles the laughs. I enjoyed every moment of speaking with her her lemonade y’all please go and get this lemonade. I hope she starts to sell it by the gallon because I’m gonna need one when my grandson took a bite of his lemon pepper wing. He dropped his head back and rolled his eyes in the back of his head and said now they know how to make some lemon pepper wings, ladies and gentlemen her greens were off the chain delicious that macaroni and cheese they not playing. It is some beautiful black women working in this facility. Her daughter came and took the picture for us. I’m so happy I got to take a picture with a celebrity today because this lady is amazing. Her whole spirit was just so warm and Inviting Will be back next week to get those oxtails. Oh yeah and the catfish is fire.. Thanks for such a wonderful experience

This place has some good soul food. We got the shrimp and fish. When we got there, there was a line out the door. Tells you that this place is well known. I wanted to try more food. I came to this place years ago and it was good then also. The staff comes up to your table to see if everything is ok. Great service. They make their lemonades and teas sweet and i love it. Keep ip the good work.

I would to apologize to sista Kim’s as I have misjudged them. Let me recap I wrote a review in the past and said I didn’t like sista kims. I tried their burger which they aren’t even famous for so I obviously tried the wrong thing and I wasn’t a fan of the burger. I work In the area and a co worker suggested I give sista Kim’s another try but this time get the cat fish. So I took his suggestion and got the catfish and ordered a side of fried shrimp. I also got the sweet and spicy sauce to dip the shrimp and cat fish in. The catfish and the shrimp was really good!! The sauce made it even better. The sauce isn’t spicy it’s got a very tiny hint of kick to it but the spice and sweet balance out perfectly. The food is a little on the steep side as far as pricing goes but it’s definitely worth it! I will be back as this will be my once in a blue moon treat for myself! I need to try the wings next as I also heard the wings are really good with the sweet n spicy sauce! The potato salad and Mac n cheese are pretty good too!

I felt welcomed as soon as we walked in! We didn’t wait for long to get our food $50 for 4 of us and right behind the strip! Fried fish, fries, shrimp po boy, pastrami po boy wonderful flavors and atmosphere. We will be back!

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and order the oxtail plate with Mac and cheese, greens, and a side of fried fish. The food was phenomenal! It was hot and fresh, and very well seasoned. I burned my mouth eating it in the car lol! Everyone was very nice when ordering and I enjoyed the atmosphere while waiting for my meal. A bit pricy but it was worth it! I’m about to go take a nap after eating this!! I will be back!

The fish (Swai) was a BIT too salty for ME. But it was good . Whatever sauce that is it’s different and good like sweet heat or something. Mac was good and flavored the cabbage was too . My friend said the strips and shrimp We’re good . Koolaid was also good and not watery . I’ll be back.
